* NEW * The ProQ Trailblazer Deluxe is the top of the range ProQ horizontal bbq smoker with the largest overall cooking area. This high specification texas style bbq smoker gives you food smoking and grilling options on a large scale and whilst size isn't everything, the combined features of this grill provide fantastic scope for a wide range of cooking styles including indirect cooking and food smoking and, with the side fire box, you have scope for different grilling or smoking projects at one and the same time. The side fire box also includes a warmer plate which sits at the same level as the main cooking chamber whilst the cooking area is positioned at a lower level to most effectively draw both heat and smoke from the main chamber. The cooking space is made up of the side fire box adding a further 1800 cm sq cooking area to the 3500 sq cm of the main chamber and providing a combined area of 5300 sq cm. The main chamber is 111cm in width and the side fire box adds a further 70cm to the overall width. The Trailblazer Deluxe has 4 cast iron cooking grates measuring a total of 70cm x 50cm with the side fire box providing additional cooking space.

This type of bbq smoker offers versatility for barbecuing as well as food smoking with a number of features to enable you to adjust the cooking temperature.  The 4 cast iron cooking grates sit above a height adjustable charcoal grate - the base below is of double steel construction to prevent burnout. The charcoal can be placed to one side of the horizontal space and the food to the other side for indirect grilling or simply use the side fire box. As with the Trailblazer, the lid has an innovative double opening function, either sliding back for you to quickly monitor the progress of your food or fully hinged and opening up for open hood barbecuing. A warming rack also sits above the cooking grates and can be swung away from the heat as required. The Trailblazer Deluxe also features two slatted wooden shelves one to the side and the other to the front and there's also a metal rack shelf at the base of the unit for storing charcoal or wood. Despite it's 58kg total weight, the Trailblazer Deluxe has a large wheeled base making it easy to move around. These new ProQ horizontal smokers are made of thicker steel then other brands on the UK market and are treated to a high heat powder coat finish for extra durability.

The fuel source for this bbq smoker is charcoal, but you can also burn wood on a charcoal base. Not recommended for a wood only heat source as this would burn too hot.
