This Landsmann Charcoal Chimney Starter is slightly larger than the ProQ version measuring 27.5cm in height with a 17cm diameter. Aside from that and its silver steel finish, it does exactly the same thing which is to light your charcoal for use in your smoker or barbecue effortlessly. Stuff the base with newspaper and fill the main chamber with charcoal then light the paper and the flames whoosh through the charcoal, funnelled by the large circular vents in the base and the charcoal lights within a few minutes. It helps to stand your charcoal starter in the charcoal pan or base of your smoker or bbq. The Landsmann has a heat resistant handle and steel protective plate.
