The ProQ Buckaroo is smaller in capacity than its big brother, the Frontier, but has exactly the same construction with a separate domed base housing the charcoal basket. This is an ideal smoker to start off with as, once you've got to grips with smoking over charcoal, you can easily upgrade the size to the same 50lb food capacity of the Frontier by simply purchasing an additional stacker or food smoking compartment. As it is, the Buckaroo offers a generous 25lbs of cooking space and also offers all the hallmark features of the Frontier including air vents in the base and lid for increased temperature control, individual locking parts for stability and portability and good access via the inspection door. The Buckaroo also has fold down metal side handles and a black top handle, just like the Frontier  - not the wooden handles featured in the image.

As with all the other smokers in the ProQ range, the Buckaroo offers great versatility for numerous cooking methods in addition to hot smoking. Use without the water pan to hot smoke at higher temperatures or to roast, use with the water pan but without wood smoke product on your charcoal base to steam and remove the stacker or food smoking compartment completely to create a portable bucket barbecue. And now you can use your ProQ Smoker to cold smoke as well as hot smoke with the new ProQ Cold Smoke Generator. At only £34 this contraption creates smoke without the heat, ideal for cold smoking conditions.

The smoker is constructed in steel with a black shiny powder coated finish. The base is porcelain coated to withstand the higher temperature in proximity to the charcoal fire base and the cooking grill is chrome plated and dishwasher safe.
